I have a few new toons and I've noticed that the GUI settings don't save correctly. Each time I re-log I have to add my 'guild', 'item loot', etc. windows and specify the channels on each. The emotes window appears even though I've closed it and my bars are unlocked even though I lock them before I log out.

I don't use a custom GUI. And this issue doesn't seem to occur on my main toons.

Anyone got any suggestions, it's an annoyance!

Let the game disconnect you for inactivity (more or less 15 minutes), your settings should be saved after that.

It's totally counter-intuitive but I tried this and it worked.

Actually, it should also work if you do a clean logoff. Use /camp and just let the countdown finish, then click Back > Quit from the Character selection screen.
No need to wait 15mins.

At least, it was working couple of months ago.

Thanks, I'll try this, as well. I noticed, after the time-out method, that my 'toon's gear updated on the character selection screen too. Am I wrong, or is this data being saved correctly then too? Anyone notice this?

type /reloadui twice and then /camp log off and then relog. everything should be saved.
