Hope you all can help.

I have checked my other games installed and they have no issues.

I run teamspeak and normally have gamesound low, so I do not know exactly when this started.

When I start AoC scan etc, the sound plays when the start icon fires up, but when I click it, there is no sound on the funcom and nvidia videos. No sound on login screen and no sound on character screen or ingame.

I tested to swap for Stereo quality and tried pretty much any combination of the options from options screen and IG audio options, with restarts.

Tried repair.

I run Nvidia 580gtx
16 gb ram
win 7 64 bit
i7 2600k 3,40 ghz
sound is what is on the mobo, realtek HD audio something
I use a headset, marked wth diablo, device marked Siberia v2 d3h in device manager.

I just recently decided to have a look at AoC again and I am certain sound was working at the beginning when I reinstalled. I use teamspeak so sound normally is very low, but when i wanted to get som e sound going I couldnt. I wonder if the last patch could have done something?

Did some more changes.

I can get it to work on monitor.

What is the issue then with the headset... It uses usb, tried it in the front and back.

Try going into the audio options in the game and select the way the sound is processed: "integer", "floating", and "auto". Restart the client each time.

It was an issue in windows. I had RL aid to look at it, so I am sorted.
