The task is: Let loose their horses (0/3).
The quest is in Keshatta.

There is no way I can make the horses run away. According to the link above, they should run away automaticly when the guards are killed. But I have stayed in the camp and killed the guards again and again - for a long time. The horses won't run away.

I have also been reading somewhere that the hinge posts should be destroyed, but that is impossible. There are no markers on the horses or poles, and nothing happens when I'm hitting them. And there are no other markers in the camp indicating some action to let the horses loose.

Once I did the quest as a member of a group. We struggeled for a long time before the horses suddenly ran away. But I did not get the quest. Neither me or the other guy have any idea what he did to chase the horses away (if he did - maybe it was the tird person joining the group).

Suggestions, anyone?

killing guards don't trigger this quest. You must attack poles what keep horses from running away. And yes, I sure you can target them in the past, don't sure about current state.

There's nothing at the poles which indicates they can be attaced. No blue markes - and they can not be mouse-right-clicked. I tried to attac them anyway, but (as expected) it did not help.

They lost their targeting. If you have AoE attacks, you can probably still hit them with those.

I tried with the few small AoE attacs I've got, including Death Whirlwind (I'm an Assassin), but it did not scare the horses. :-(

Got a GM to update that part of the quest a while ago. Did the quest again with a friend a week or so later on another character and we managed to use aoe attacks to complete that part but it took a while and was mostly guesswork.

Thank's for the answeres. Just tried again together with a big group. We killed every mob in all camps close to the horses - and tried lots of spells - but the damn animals stayed.

I give up this quest.

The quest is totally bugged.
I had quest indicators on the ramps of the 2 horse stables but not for the third...if any GM can update my quest I would be grateful..

Been on it 3 times in as many days. Killed all guards, no quest markings on poles. Oh dear.
