Im one of those that have a hard time deciding what class to pick, and therefore allways ends up with 3-4 characters, instead of focusing on one - and thats my goal now!


Im gonna write some short words on what i like about characters, playstyle etc


- I like characters that uses shields, but i dont want to be a tank. (if there was a shield character, with decent dps and fairly good in PVP - that would be my choice any day.

- Being wanted in groups
- Focusing on PvE AND PvP.. Half of each i would guess
- Im more into a brick wall instead of a squishy fish
- Healing is fun sometimes, but i dont want to be a healbot only
- DPS is really fun, prefer melee, but ranged is allright
- Looks - classes that have awesome armour looks, weaps, shield or whatever.


I know that i cant have a character that got all of it, but is there a character that would fit me? What do you think ?

I think ToS is the class you'r looking for =)

Check, tos use shields, aren't a tank, working good in pvp after u got some gear, and have decent dps (especially aoe dps).

Yup, in addition to healing and performing good dps, the tos also gives really nice teambuffs.

Hmm, tos is quite squishy unfortunately, intil u get some gear.

- Healing is fun sometimes, but i dont want to be a healbot only

tos is more like a autopilot healer. You do not have to put so much work into it, to heal quite well

- DPS is really fun, prefer melee, but ranged is allright

with a tos you have a micture between ranged and melee dps. You can do dps on range, but you need to stand close to run the best dps spells, like Storm Field.

- Looks - classes that have awesome armour looks, weaps, shield or whatever.

The raidgear look of the tos isn't like awesome, but it's decent. The ToS/PoM helm from Turan however, looks realy nice! ;D

Roll a female ToS .. those nipple guards are worth it just by themselves

Word of warning tho: ToS is no 1 target in PvP and is quite squishy at low level and new 80 with poor gear/lack of AAs. But its great after.

Dark Templar might also be an option.
Shield, mainly Melee, Heals, not squishy, high DPS, cool look, 'brick'-build possible, don't know about PvP-Performance....
