I. Joining the crew.
What can do a bored, over the board curious courtesan from Dark desires sisterhood when her pockets are heavy from silver, when usual friends and most favorite clients scatter around the world and when hot Stygian sun does not allow one’s brain think brightly?
She wanted an adventure, something unusual and may be even dangerous. Some will say the idea which visited her and got accepted was stupid... even idiotic and senseless but Milika did not think about it that way. She decided to try out a slave’s life. For time...
She had a friend called Aleterus who was the right person to ask about this – slaves were his business. They made a simple deal – on the next slave market Milika will be sold by him for two weeks to anyone who gives more. And when the two weeks pass, she will get part of the money. Both should win.
Milika’s meeting with the most miserable life possible started the next week. She and seven more slaves – six women and one man, were standing on the beach of Khopshef province. They were carifuly inspected by the slaver himself and one of Set priestesses. At least this is what Milika thought about that woman. Then they moved to the small trade town, where the market was about to take place.
The procession consisted of eight slaves, slaver, two Set’s servants and three guards. Safely they reached their destination. Burnt by the cruel Stygian sun all slaves felt a great relief when they were finaly commanded to go under a tent on the main trade squire of Caravanserai.
A crowd of potential costumers gathered in the middle of the place. There were dressed in colorful and rich clothes and looked like they don’t realy need anything in life any more. To her surprise, Milika even noticed a couple of her sisters present, also another man who she knew well enough. Unnoticed she whispered to Aleterus asking him to show her in the end which he agreed with.
And so the trade began. One by one slaves were bought by different people. There was one khitan girl who went away for 172 gold coins, a price which even Aleterus swallowed heavily when heard about. When only three slaves left, a man arrived on the squire and joined the crowd of bidders. Milika notices how he was watching her, he did not turn his eyes away almost all time. Tall, handsome, with long dark hair. His smile was warm and kind and eyes were lusting. Milika understood – he will be the one who will buy here, no doubt.
When Milika’s turn came, she stepped forward proudly. She used the chance and shown with her whole look how she disrespected all the present people, wanting to buy a human life for mare coins. First, the potential bidders met her with approving nods, and whispers but as soon as Aleterus introduced her and said, that the slavery time will be only two weeks, it was like a shock. Angry, disrespectful and disappointed looks shot in her direction from all sides. The only people who still looked at her kindly were her sisters and... that man.
She was right – he was the one to buy her. 23 gold coins for two weeks. She walked to him together with Aleterus who went to collect the money and give the buyer a contract.
Later she, her new master and one more man were walking down the streets of Caravanserai. Before leaving the town they stopped for a small conversation. The master’s name was Zoran, a famous captain, treasure hunter and the star of many young girls’ dreams. They talked long and during the conversation he asked her who she realy was and why she was sold for only two weeks. Milika explained him the whole situation and here was the time for his companion to speak his part.
- Whore! – He exclaimed. – She is a whore, captain! Why did you take her?
Milika was pretty much amused by such reaction. The man’s name was Rafaell
and he was a new member of Zoran’s crew as well. However by the captain’s look it didn’t seem like he gave much hope in this stygian man.
Milika and Rafaell were arguing for so long time and with such passion that it started taking a rather serious turn and was about to start a fight, Zoran commanded both to shut up.
The whole day they spent on the way to Khemi and in the evening reached Zoran’s ship docked in Khemi away from the shore.
The ship was small, with fins on sides and tall sail. Fast but not large boat, not quite what Milika expected to find. Also it was heavily damaged. While Rafaell (the man who with all his look did not like Milika) grabbed tools and started repairing the ship, she and Zoran joined a close conversation. He explained that his former ship was destroyed by kraken and almost whole crew died or got lost, and Milika told him a little about herself.
- I don’t want you to be a slave, Milika. I hate slavery...For these two weeks you will be the member of my crew, what you say?
- As you wish, mas...captain.
- May be you will even stay for longer, I would need your help in one matter... the thing is that we are looking for treasures hidden somewhere in Stygia and you may join the hunt and get a part of it if we succeed.
On the word ‘treasure’ Milika’s eyes sparked. She asked him to share more information about that. But he got a hard shell and did not want to open up cards so easy.
- When there will come the time, I will tell you your role. I can say only one now. The map of the treasure is held in that building. – He pointed at a tall black castle on the edge of Khemi. – somewhere under it. And to get inside I need your help, Milika.
She knew well how stupid such idea was. To get inside a castle in Khemi? For non-stygians? It sounded like a suicide but also was tempting and calling. But wasn’t she looking for an adventure like this? Milika knew well that she would regret it. But she said “yes”. Silly silly girl...
They talked a little more while Rafaell was swinging his hammer, repairing the ship. The man all the time sent glances, watching Zoran chatting with that annoying woman. We may only guess what he thought when the captain shouted to him:
*- Rafaell... – he coughed – I believe we need to... err... buy... some more tools.
The man blinked surprised. He knew well that they did not need any more tools... but his captain continued:
*- Swim to the city, find Erkos and have the two of you purchase all the tools you need... You can spend the night in the Inn, on me.
*- Aye Aye, Captain. – Answered Raf and jumped in the water swimming towards the city. After a minute he turned his head and looked back and the boat. His captain and Milika were kissing... kissing and embracing. He raised his eyes to the sky, clearly understanding why Zoran sent him to Khemi. He kept swimming away cursing that annoying wench.
Milika was not the only woman in the crew. Also her sister-in-faith and close friend Arienella joined it. Also known as “Swift blade” this cute blonde wielded daggers like a true master.
Late in the evening of a warm calm day Zoran, Kaileth (another crew member, a good friend of Zoran), Arienella, Milika and Rafaell gathered on the ship. And here Zoran told them his plan of how to get the map. It sounded like that:
Arienells and Milika should have seduced the guards near a servants’ entrance while Raf and Kaileth would knock them down and Zoran would get by the roofs behind that door and open it from inside. Then they would enter the castle and by a map (Zoran bought it from ex-servant of that place) they would get in the lower levels of the castle and find there the treasure map. And when the map will be in the hands of our heroes they would leave the place through another servants’ entrance where two more crew members will be waiting to cover them.
Sounds suicidal enough? But it’s not the end!
Also was mentioned that there should be some guardians, curses, magical traps and fields, places where only high priests could enter, hidden passages and so on and so on.
No need to describe how shocked and puzzled crew members were, especially the female side. But the magic word ‘treasure’ and ‘rich’ convinced them to agree...
And they left the ship to face the dangers of Khemi underworld!
After arriving at the place and discussing the plan once again, Zoran went away to get atop the roofs the women walked towards the guards. Arienella worked her part almost perfectly, her guard was very interested in her, smiles and joked with her. But Milika did not have such success... her guard seemed not interested in her and even in any woman in general.
She tried her best to focus his attention on her while Kaileth and Rafaell sneaked behind and got ready to strike the guards. Zoran already appeared on the wall above the entrance and gave the sign for action. What happened next made both Ari and Mili speechless for several long seconds.
Both Raf and Kail jumped out of their covers and... got knocked down instantly by the guards... The women stood shocked watching their comrades lying senseless on the ground. But Zoran saved the situation – he jumped off the wall and knocked the guards by himself.
The door was open, the guards’ bodies hidden and our heroes rushed in. Kaileth left outside to cover this entrance and see if they were not followed and the four, Mili, Ari, Zoran and Raf streamed inside the castle hiding in the shadows, avoiding patrols and going deeper and deeper.
Gladly the map of this place which Zoran had was right and they finaly found the mysterious lower level of the castle. Numerous passages and labyrinths were surprisingly abandoned. Dusty floor and walls, the absence of any furniture. It looked like no one visited this part for a long time.
You favorite four treasure hunters came into a room and the light of their torches shown them a horrific picture. Many dead bodies dressed as guards were scattered in all sides. Their bodies were damaged horribly, limbs torn off, half-dried blood covered the most space of the floor.
*- I suggest to turn back right now. – Said Milika with a worried look.
Others carefuly inspected the bodies, picked up weapons and started deciding should they go on or not. Milika was against of it but others especially Zoran and Raf wanted to continue. Before they made a final decision Milika said:
*- There is someone. – And pointed in the dark.
*- Where? – Asked Zoran and peered in the dark passage in front of them. Strange figure looking like a man was just standing there without moving. Zoran careful moved forward ready to use a spear if needed. Others watched from far waiting what would happen. Suddenly the figure turned to him and with it several more. Three figures moved to Zoran. When they got into the light of torches the crew saw undeads. Pale, scrawny, deformed walking deads. They jumped on Zoran but he blocked their first strike and instead started pressing them. Others rushed to help him but he killed these monsters fast enough.
Everyone was shocked seeing such strange thing. Zoran said that most likely these are the “ancient guardians” the old servant was warning about. These three didn’t seem very dangerous so after some arguing the crew decided to go in.
They found a hidden entrance to a passage behind half-cracked wall fragment. There were long and dark tunnels filled with the unliving guardians. Our heroes moved bravely hacking and slashing through them until reaches a wide room with a tall fountain.
*- Gold! – exclaimed Zoran and pointed at iron serpent’s head which had water flowing out of it’s mouth. Indeed there was sparkling something. Others asked Zoran to focus on the mission and they kept going deeper and deeper fighting the “ancient guardians”.
The deeper they followed the stranger things were becoming. On a wide circling stair burning torches were attached to the walls. Who could light them here since the passage was blocked by a wall? Our heroes asked this question but kept going, expecting that the answer would come very soon.
In front of them was a wide hall and in the middle a tall man was walking back and forth. He looked strange, even creepy. His skin was dark and colorless, bald head and wicked eyes.
*- This one doesn’t look like others.
*- Go talk to him, Zoran. – Offered Milika. The captain nodded and stepped in the hall. He called the dark skinned man attention but that one seemed did not pay any attention. Only when Zoran came too close, it attacked.
Of course the crew rushed to help their captain but this enemy was not as easy as anything they met before. It’s long and strong arms were flying in all directions trying to grab or strike any of his foes. Zoran got a strong hit and has been thrown in the wall where he almost fainted. The monster turned to Milika and started pressing her. She tried to block and dodge the incoming hits and help long enough while Ari was cutting the monster’s legs with her daggers and Rafaell sent arrows in it. Finaly the guardian fell on the floor dead when two arrows pierced it’s skull.
Several minutes the crew was roaming around the hall trying to find the map. The hall was empty. Only a couple of statues, some pillars, a pool with greenish water and that’s it. And finaly, when there did not left a single unchecked spot around their attention turned to the dead monster.
(And now I offer you to read the chat, this way you may feel how it was much better than if I tell with my words )
[Zorann]: *Mutters to himself* "The Guardian guards his treasure deeply..."
[Arienella]: *glances over to the body of the Guardian*... you can’t be serious
[Zorann]: *Looks over at the Guardian and then walks towards it determinly*
[Zorann] shouts: *Stops at the corpse of the Guardian and then sighs* I hope my mother does not see this...
[Milika]: *sighs* Please just don’t touch in...
[Rafaell]: *looks down at the creature and rips out the two arrows stuck in it’s head...*
[Arienella]: *keeps distance to them*
[Zorann] *Raises his spear and then with a grunt heaves it downwards, piercing the stomach of the Guardian, and the blade of the spear tears it open*
[Arienella]: *looks away, as Zoran opens the corpse*
[Zorann] *Together with a loud sucking noise, and a terrible choking smell, the rotten entrails pour out*
[Milika]: *looks little more pale than usual*
[Arienella]: When you are done... say it please *with these words she goes more away from them*
[Zorann]: *Looks down at the entrails that goes around his boots and his eyes start twitching as he starts coughing slightly disgusted*
[Zorann] *Inhales deeply* I can't believe I'm doing this....
Milika walked away from the men to Arienella and stops near her.
[Milika]: this man is...
[Arienella]: He is so...?
[Milika]: he is ready for anything for that blasted map!
[Zorann] *Bends down and starts searching through the stomach of the Guardian with his arms, trying not to vomit*
[Arienella]: *nods* Seems so... *glances over to Zoran*... I hope he isn’t ready to abandon us for this treasure...
[Milika] *not being able to watch that, starts vomit*
[Zorann] *Goes on with it for a while, then pulls out his hands from the stomach and staggers backwards, and vomits loudly*
[Zorann] *Leans on the pillar as he heaves up his latest dinner, which strangely contains lots of nuts and fish*
[Milika]: tell me when he finishes... *wipes her lips with disgust*
[Rafaell] *Even Rafaell has a disgusted expression on his face...*
[Arienella]: *ignores the sounds from behind her. She puts her hands on her ears, so that she only can hear Mili proper, while she watches the water*
[Zorann] *Looks back palely at the Guardian and then suddenly straightens up* Can it...
[Zorann] *Goes back to the Guardians corpse, and stares down in its mouth*
[Zorann] *Bends open the stiff jaws and then mutters a prayer to Mitra before he sticks his arm down its throat*
[Zorann] shouts: Uuuugh.... Ugghh.... Help me! I got something!
[Arienella] shouts: Raf can help you with that!!!
[Milika] shouts: no I... I am helping Ari here I can't..
[Zorann] shouts: I have it! I have it! Pull me out!
Both Ari and Mili rush to Zoran and Raf.
[Rafaell] *nods a few times..* Aye, Captain!
[Milika]: *looks down at the mess*
[Rafaell]: *grabs Zoran at the waste and tries to pull him out with all his strength*
[Milika]: *pulls Raf for his waist too*
[Arienella]: *goes slowly to the group, but looks away from the corpse*
[Zorann] shouts: *As they help him, he places a foot at the head and heaves all that he got, and then with a loud, sucking sound, he falls backwards, holding a slimy and bloody rolled up piece of parchment in his gory hand*
[Zorann]: Ouuuuf! *Falls on the ground*
[Milika]: if it's not it I will...
[Rafaell]: This... the map? *coughs a little*
[Arienella]: I hope it is the map... can we please leave now this god damned place?
[Zorann]: Uh.... Yuck.... *Flaps with his arm, trying to get off a bit of the gore and blood from his arm*
[Zorann]: *Breathes rapidly as he rolls up the parchment*
[Arienella]: *looks away from Zoran, with a disgusted facial expression*
[Milika]: *coughs unhealthily* I fill dizzy...
[Zorann]: *Looks at it shortly and then shines up* This is it! It's it! This is the Map! *Jumps up and laughs looking down at the map happily* It's mine.... errr...ours...
Milika could not hold it anymore. She was covered in blood and flesh pieces of that monster all this time and now the horrible stench started driving her crazy. She dashed away to the room where the fountain place was. Not thinking long she jumped in the greenish water which was flowing from snake’s head and started washing herself.
Soon her companions arrived as well. They stood watching her.
[Zorann]: Mili? Are you okay?
[Milika]: I am? Of course!
[Zorann]: *Goes down in the water too*
[Arienella]: do you think that this is a good idea *looks worried at Mili*
[Milika]: *wipes herself to wash off the remains of the monster’s stinky flash*
[Zorann]: *Looks up at the parparet of the fountain and his eyes starts gleaming*
[Zorann]: *Uses his spear to put the point beneath the gold part of the parparet and heaves*
[Arienella]: You have the map, isn’t that enough for today?
[Zorann]: We'll get a bit rich too!
[Milika]: *gets out of the pool and wipes the strange water off* grrrr.....cold
[Zorann]: Huuuuuh! *Heaves and as the spear breaks, the gold piece falls out, into the water*
[Rafaell]: *shakes his head* Never too much, get gold, captain!
[Zorann]: *Throws the broken spear to the side and then picks up the goldpiece*
[Arienella]: *sighs* Well... but could we leave now.. please?
[Zorann]: Heh. I bet this wil-
*A large rumble can be heard as the ground starts shaking*
[Milika]: what the...
[Zorann]: *Looks around himself panicly*
[Rafaell]: *looks around as well*
[Arienella]: *tries to keep herself on her feets*... I said it... damned ZORAN!!!
[Milika]: let's run away now!
*The rumbeling gets louder and the ground and pillars starts shaking as dust and pieces of marble starts dripping down from the roof*
[Arienella] shouts: RUN!!!
[Zorann] shouts: *Turns around* RUN!
And our heroes run away at full speed while the whole place was shaking, and cracking. They reached the wide stairs and when almost passed it Milika made a very bad step and fell down.
[Zorann]: Come on Mili!
[Arienella]: *reaches out to Mili*
[Zorann]: *Looks down at her panicly* Can you run?
*Small pieces of the roof starts dropping down*
[Zorann]: *Looks up at the roof and shouts* IM SORRY OKAY!?
*a slab of rock falls right next to Rafaell, he peers at it, with widened eyes* Get up, whore!
[Zorann]: *Looks down at Mili and then curses as he bends down and with a grunt picks her up in his arms*
[Zorann]: *Grunts and looks at Ari and Raf* Go! Do you want to die! Run you fools!
[Arienella]: We dont let you both back!!
[Rafaell]: *looks around a little* Aye... aye, captain!
*Larger pieces of the roof starts dropping, one nearly hitting Rafaell*
[Rafaell]: *he quickly jumps backwards, narrowly avoiding it*
[Arienella]: *looks worried at the roof, tries to evade every piece of it, which might fall on her*
[Rafaell] shouts: Leave the whore, captain, we have the map!
[Zorann] shouts: I won't leave anyone behind!
[Arienella] shouts: WE DONT LEAVE HER HERE!!! *glares angrily at Raf*
[Milika]: *hardly stands up groaning* I can go I can... let's go..
[Zorann]: *Shifts his hold on her and then gestures to the others* Go go!
They made it through many passages and across many corners when finaly got out of the hidden lower level. But the earthquake still kept shaking the whole place. The small door in the servant’s entrance was seen in front and they only needed to run up one stairs. Suddenly Zoran dropped the map.
[Zorann]: Wait! MAP!
[Rafaell] *quickly runs after the map*
*A really large piece falls down next to Rafell, creating a crack in the stairs*
[Rafaell] shouts: Set!
[Zorann] shouts: Raf! It's not worth it! Get back!
*Another large piece falls down right in front of Zorran, partially blocking the entrance*
[Rafaell] shouts: *at the top of his voice* i have it!
[Zorann] shouts: JUUUUMP!
[Rafaell] *runs back and jumps as high as he can but only manages to hold onto the rock*
*As Raf jumps, right behind a large piece of the wall falls down behind him, blocking the way*
[Rafaell] shouts: Help me down!
[Zorann]: *Reaches over the rock and grabs his hand*
[Zorann]: *Grits his teeths* COME.... ON!!! *Heaves*
[Milika]: *holds Zoran for his waist* pull this worthless piece!
[Arienella]: *looks tensed at all of them and holds Zoran aswell*
[Rafaell]: *he quickly falls to the ground, nearly on his face, narrowly blocked by his arms*
[Zorann]: *Grabs Rafaells arm and pulls him to his feet* LET'S GO!
[Arienella]: Get up!!
They left the blasted dungeon and found themselves on the outskirts of Khemi. Among the poor houses no people could be seen, except two on a roof a bit away – people of Zoran. They waves to them and they waves back, signaling that all went fine.
Milika gasped a bit, catching breath.
[Rafaell]: *sighs in relief, very drowsily...*
[Arienella]: *breathes heavly*
[Zorann]: *Looks around and pants heavily* No time to rest... We need to get to the ship.
[Milika]: *peers at Raf with not so kind face expression*
[Rafaell]: *then triumphantly raises his arm, laughing happily* Our map!
[Milika]: *comes close to Rafaell and says angrily* Raf.... LEAVE the whore?! *her foot flies to him aiming to kick his ball*
[Rafaell]: *he falls down painfully*
[Zorann]: Snatches the map from him as he falls down from Mili's kick*
[Arienella]: NEVER EVER TRY THAT AGAIN WITH THE GOLD ZORAN!!! *looks angry*
[Zorann]: *Looks back shocked at Ari* B-b-but...
[Zorann]: It was gold!
[Rafaell]: *groans loudly* You whore!
[Arienella]: You killed us all nearly and the map is more worth as this little gold trinket.
[Milika]: want another kick?
[Zorann]: And... *Pants* We.. *Places his foot over Raf's mouth to stop him from hurting himself any more* Got out...!
[Arienella]: *as Mili asks that, Ari kicks Raf, who lies on the ground*
[Rafaell]: I first come to help, but... *groans* You so slow...
[Milika]: if you fell there I'd not leave you!
[Zorann]: We need to get to the ship before the Guards starts scouting the city.
[Rafaell]: *painfully gets up*
[Zorann]: Come on! *Tucks the map in his belt and turns around*
By the evening they safely arrived on the ship and finaly could breath freely. Zoran hid the map and got out some bottles with rum. They drank and celebrated. And this was just the beginning of the great adventure!
The whole event was very rich on events and to not cause you die from wall of text crit I will try to be as short as possible.
III. The Hunt!
The warm cool breeze of the Styx river changed on dusty whirling clouds of a dry desert. The group of men and women left the ship several minutes ago and were walking somewhere deep into wild deserted land. When the ship was repaired after it ran on a rock near Khemi, when all preparations were done, the Zoran’s crew finally set sails and made it’s way for the treasure hunt! Five of them there were: Zoran himself, the fearless hero, Rafaell, his not-so-smart but loyal first mate, Galok, a strong man, Arienella the Shy, also known as “Swift blade” and Milika, whom you all know and love.
The water way went smooth and without any troubles, the sun was high and was burning the mortals with it’s merciless searing rays. On the way another man joined the crew. His name was Hangton and he seemed very young for such journey but he proved to be a trustful person.
Half way left to go when suddenly our brave heroes ran into a bandit pack. The bandits looked fearsome and brutal, there even was one girl who looked like a crazed monkey ready to bite heads off if you give her a chance. But they had one little trouble… there all were far from smart. Should I also mention they lost and did not know where they were? Anyway, after a long and stressed conversation, after many threats and mutual promises of swift doom from both sides, Zoran managed to convince the bandits that if they don’t touch the crew, they will have a good share of the treasures. Bandits agreed. Poor things.
Whole day it took them to reached the destination. What a hole this was! Sharp rocks everywhere looked like bones of gigantic dead monsters, ruins of some forgotten city scattered all around, strange creatures were roaming freely and glancing at our adventurers like at walking portions of food.
There was the door in the stony wall, right as the map said. Happy that the half of the job was done, our heroes bravely made their way to it just to be stopped by… a woman. A lone woman in white dress in the middle of nowhere? Are you kidding me? But no! It was not the most strange thing – the woman was transparent, unliving and swore like a wounded old dog. She threatened the crew and the bandits with horrible doom if they try to enter the door. First all were scared and shocked of course. Wouldn’t you be scared if you met something like this? However there was the other side of the coin. The bandits were terrified more than our heroes. Zoran and his people already met unliving creatures back in Khemi, fought them and destroyed many. But these silly bandits were novices in this. They said they would never ever enter the door and that they will wait for our crew’s return here, outside. In the company of this annoying ghost.
Allright than. Zoran, Rafaell, Hangton, Galok, Arienella and Milika stepped through the door, on the way to the unknown evil, utter darkness and treasures in the end!
The darkness was impenetrable, surrounding and pressing. It was a long passage with very high ceiling and loads of finely made statues of men in different poses. Someone may say it is the well known Treasure of the Ancients that is near the great pyramid, but this is not… something similar and much much more creepy.
They had only two torches and Zoran got one of them. The second took… well… Would you being in such company give a torch, a vital item in such dark and dangerous place to a…courtesan? Would you? I knew that you say so. However Zoran did. He gave it to Milika. And of course after making a long way in absolute silence and hearing a sudden strange noise, Milika drops the torch, it shuts the flame and rolls somewhere away never to be seen again. And so the crew stands in the middle of dark passage, surrounded by darkness and strange stone grinding sounds. Heavy footsteps. Clinging of heavy metal weapons. Something slowly approached to the crew from all directions.
Then they saw them. The statues. They were moving towards our heroes with weapons or bare handed and their eyes had that specific evil glow. I think I will not describe the fight itself. It was furious, very messy, loud and long. The six humans fought for their lives against soulless stony monsters. Many statues fell. And soon all of them turned to dust. Our adventures were skilled in such fights however and got out with just several bruises and scratches… only poor Rafaell got pressed by a falling statue once but it was not a mortal wound. But something was wrong… something was missing… Hangton!
The poor young man was missing and their screams could not help it. After several minutes of searching in the blackness of the passage he was found stoned…I mean… not moving, frozen on place, but solid and at first sight not damaged. Zoran said they will take care of him after the main mission will be completed and so the crew moved on in the depth of this evil place.
A good archeologist who is studying stygian culture would know that if someone finds a chamber with many statues of men, he should find a woman statue as well. A big one. A very very big and dangerous one. So it happened to our adventurers as well. The huge woman stood motionlessly in the middle of the last wide hall. And once again Zoran makes a stupid thing – he rushed forwards and starts hacking the stony legs of the woman mercilessly with his spear. I mean, come on! She was not moving and did not seem to be aggressive at all! But no!
Certainly the huge woman began defending herself. Starting with a nice floor pounding jump which made all our heroes to fall down and continuing with mighty blows and strong but not so fast kicks. Such kick could kill a man easily if it reached the target but our crew members were skilled and fast and did not let it happen… however as always Rafaell made a success here as well. For long half an hour after the stony lady was defeated he was lying senseless on the cold floor.
The treasure was found! A not so light chest full of all kinds of gems, ancient coins and fascinating jewelry. When Rafaell woke up the crew made their way to the exit and to their surprise Hangton was not on the way… he gone missing once again. Other strange but more enjoyable news was the fact that the bandits who stayed near the entrance were missing too. Probably the annoying ghost pissed them off and they fled away. Happy and winged up the incredible five made their way back to the ship. A fine good surprise was that they found poor Hangton fainted on the way in the desert. Successfully reaching the ship and arriving to Khemi, the treasure was shared among all fairly.
And this was the tale of the great Zoran’s treasure hunt!
Haha, reading this again put a wide smile on my face! I had a great time, and thanks to everyone that made it possible! Special thanks to the Koraggs who provided with Yusuf and his mighty(?) Khemi Three, and Teleia for playing the ghost! Now we rest a while before heading out on the next adventure!
