AWAKENING WANTS YOU!

In a vain attempt to attract the last unguilded player on Crom or to sway any player looking for a new Guild. I am happy to announce that Awakening is recruiting.


Awakening is a guild that formed just as the game launched, we recently spent a happy 5 months calling ourselves Order of awakening but are now once more using our original and simpler name. Throughout all of the games ups and downs we have been here. Our aim is to continue to play an active part in game and server life. As players we are not going anywhere else, anytime soon. We are not struggling, not losing large amounts of players to other games or other servers. We remain a safe and stable guild for players to invest time with.


Our players

Awakening is a fun community of people. Who pride ourselves on being supportive of each other and for putting enjoyment above all other achievements possible in game. We come from various parts of Europe and communicate in chat and over vent in English. We are busy every evening and all weekends. We raid, quest, craft, PVP and generally have as much fun as possible. We also have officers dedicated to ensuring the stability of the guild and helping everyone get the most out of AOC no matter how new to the game they are.


Our Home

After many months of effort we completed our T3 city in June. That’s all of the buildings and all the walls finished. Since then all our members have been able to craft everything available in the game. Recent Funcom additions have given us new vendors and new facilities only open to guilds that have reached this milestone. As the game improves whats available in guild cities we aim to be first in line to offer them to our players.


Guild Bot

Our guild Bot has been around a little while now. Although it has changed a bit since first put it up. We know consider it an essential part of how we play the game. It allow our players to know exactly who is who (avoiding those messy who's alt is that tells). It contains an ever expanding series of functions to help us manage our game life. For people unfamiliar with guild bots, they are not frightening to use or complicated and in time you will wonder what you would do if you didn’t have one.


Raiding

Awakening is very active in both organising and completing raids. We successfully raid three to four nights a week in most raid instances. There are still challenges for us. We have not cleared everything in BRC yet, there are still two bosses to go but everything else in BRC gets killed every week
All sign ups are voluntary through our very active website and we use a raid rotation and DKP system to balance not only what loot players get but who attends each raid.
Most players if they wish can be involved in several guild only raids each week and depending on luck have a very good opportunity to improve there characters very quickly.


PVP

We have a very active core of PVP players who can be found most evenings playing mini games. Although we may have or may not have a battle when any player joins us we are still one of the most active siegeing guilds on the server. Often joining battles with other guilds to take part in this exciting but often buggy part of the game. We are all set expand this important part of the game by testing our self against other pvp guilds on a regular basis. Our record past and present makes us a great destination for players who want to be involved in PVP.

Crafting

Many of our players have large collections of world drop recipes and guild members often swap or craft for each other at cost. Using all the buildings now constructed any new member of Awakening would be able to craft to the level of the most advanced guilds on any server. As Funcom expand this area we hope to be first in line to offer everyone in guild the best opportunities to craft what ever gets added.


Who We Are looking For

Even though Awakening has a large number of active high level 80 players already, we would like to actively encourage players of all levels to contact us. Although we are not looking to be the largest guild on any server, we are looking to strengthen what is already one of the most exciting and busy guilds on Crom.

As we have said all characters are welcome as it’s the players that are important not just the class you play. We have alts and new low levels players to group with and experienced members to help you along no matter what level of game experience you may have. However it’s worth mentioning the majority of our guild events are designed for the 80's (Tiers 1 raids are open to 75+)

We have had some great players join us in the last few days and alongside another group that have come back from other games. We are no longer short of any specific classes. Recruitment is still open of course.

But we looking out for some more active PVPing players. We can already field a raid of PVP level 1/2/3's and take part in sieges with our friends every week. But in the long term we are looking to be able to mix this up with guild only sieges. We don't only talk about PVP or rate it as something that gets in the way of raiding. We do it. So if the idea of joining an active guild that counts PVP as a big part of how they play the game sounds good to you, then let us know.
