I just started a ranger.

Simple question:


What skills should I pick? Max hiding, or w/e?


Tell me exactly which to max, which to don't whatever. Thank you.

max endurance, run speed, skulk. Hiding to about 400, and then whatever else you want, I personally put 1 point into all the regens so I can use rest on occasion (usually between duels).

I'm only in to PvE'ing. Is it the same?

Max run-speed, skulk and hide. Keep Climbing at about 150-200.

250 I think for vistrix ladder, or you could just jump and get a rez at the bottom, you only need a max of 180 I think for all quests in the game that require you to climb, and you can buy climbing gear in atzels that gives you like 200 climbing.

Also I never recommend someone to only play half the game, if you get the chance I suggest to PvP as much as possible, it makes you a much better player in all aspects of the game.

You already know my opinion on which half of the game to game to play

However, if somebody only wants to PvE, it's not for me to tell them how to spend their time or money.

It has an effect in PvE. None as far as I can tell (and I have tested a lot) in PvP.
