I've tried a couple of UI's (Mirage and Plagued) and I experience the same problem with both of them: The extra buttonbars hide the caster bar so I can't see it. So whenever I cast a spell, the bar that shows the progress bar is hidden beneath the UI.

Is there a way to fix this?

Here's a workaround:

Enable the timer bar in advanced options so that they are always visible when not casting as well.

Then press Alt-z to hide the HUD. Do a spell/combo/mount, then you'll see your own timer bar appear. Target someone doing the same, then the target timer bar will appear. Drag them somewhere else and press Alt-z again.

You can then disable always show timer bar if you want.

Thanks! That worked... kind of. I have to do it every time I start the game, though. Is there anyway of making the change permanent?

do a soft exit i.e. wait the full 15 secs for it to log you out. That should save your settings. Note that changing your resolution or using the /reloadui command may reset your positions.

This will softexit.
