I wish I knew how to make those black boxes you guys post codes in. If any of you wish to share , I'd be grateful. Thanks.

I want to change it to fetch a txtfile, so I don't manually have to spam that txt.file as a response to the info request.

I'd appreciate any help, but will keep trying. Cheers.

This I guess was my best attempt, but ofc it fails as the recruit doesn't have a copy of the txt file.

so what script does...

it sends a link that opens popup window to character. thing is that someone needs to contact you, then you send him script.
lets say your script is called "info.txt" (i remove extension for scripts so its only "info") spam your recruitment, someone contacts you then you type this:

/info Charactername

It could be better, but still it would require the Officer to manually write the commandreply for each member requesting info. Save the need to write .txt Hmm

I guess what I am requesting is a way to script a command, clickable by others, that prompts my account to spam a txtfile at them, without me doing anything.

What you want is a guildbot with guildinfo I think.

Bebot is usually nice, but in a somewhat unstable state atm due to Funcom's change in login protocols.

That could be it. Gonna look at it in depth, as my initial thought is that "bots" are beyond me, which makes it interesting

to run bebot you need webserver with php/mysql, either installed at home, or rented one (be sure you can log into its command line, otherwise you cant run it *( actually you can in browser but thats not safe )* )

then just follow instructions how to get it started, its not hard...

get patch from http://forums-eu.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=12512 so it works after 1.05 patch.

then, for automatic guild info get module called "ginfo" from bebots homepage and change it according to your needs
